In Moray schools, both teachers and learners make use of Glow, which is Scotland’s nationally available digital environment for learning.

A user name and password are required to access Glow, both of which are issued by the school.

To access Glow, open up a web browser (Chrome if possible), and navigate to glow.rmunify.com and log in. A video guide on this process can be seen by clicking on the Glow tab above.

Glow resources include Office 365 and Google G Suite. These allow young people to create rich resources to support their learning across all ages and stages.

What is Glow?  Digital Support : Moray - Glow (google.com)

Glow is Scotland’s nationally available digital environment that can be used to support learning across the whole curriculum. It provides learners access to a number of web services such as Microsoft Office 365, G Suite for Education and Glow Blogs. Access to Glow is restricted to learners and educators who are each issued a username and password to access their account.

Glow allows learning to take place outside the classroom on any device that has internet access. Glow itself is not an app; however many of the resources such as Office 365 can be downloaded as apps and accessed with Glow login details.

Glow allows learners to work in a variety of ways, from collaborating with peers to working individually at their own pace. Glow services are free to all students with a Glow login and can be accessed at anytime, anywhere, and on any device.

What is Teams?

Microsoft Teams (available via GLOW) is part of the Office 365 suite of applications. It is a communication and collaboration tool with chat, video meetings and file storage functionality. Class Teams provides a private online classroom space which teachers can create and share with their class. A Class Team allows learners to communicate with their teachers and other learners, as well as receiving, submitting and getting feedback on assessments online. Learners can also access Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and their Class OneNote from inside their Class Team
